WE1600 is a water repellent used in the manufacture of water-based impregnations or base coats for mineral substrates. A pH adjuster suitable for water-based coating systems, water-based inks, water-based adhesives, water-based color pastes, etc.

Siwin-WE1600 is an excellent impregnating agent, suitable for many mineral substrates such as bricks, clinkers, ceramic tiles, as well as aerated concrete, gypsum, gypsum-based fiberboards, and lightweight fillers.

It is a concentrate and should be diluted with water before use. To determine the correct dilution ratio, pre treatment is required.

It is easy to add to coatings and can be incorporated either in the early or late stage of coating production. The general addition amount is 0.1%-0.3%, and in acidic emulsion systems, the addition amount can be appropriately increased.

As an additive for silicone resin coatings, Siwin-WE1600 accelerates the film formation of silicone resin adhesives, thereby enhancing the water-proof effect and early water resistance.

Siwin-WE1600 is sensitive to frost and heat and must not be stored at temperatures below 0°C or above 40°C, as this may cause irreparable damage. If frost or heat damage is suspected, the usability of the product must be checked before processing. Siwin-WE1600 may change after long-term storage (such as forming creams, precipitates, or separating). Please stir well before use.
