Water-repellent treatment of plaster elements and plasterboard / wallboard.Siwin-WE9400 is added to the mixing / gauging water of the plaster. The addition of just 0.1-0.5% Siwin-WE9400, expressed in terms of the plaster, effects a significant reduction in water absorption. The efficiency of Siwin-WE9400 depends on the kind of plaster, on the water / gypsum ratio and on additives such as starch / cellulose or surfactants. Preliminary tests are always necessary for establishing the required amount. Alkaline components of the plaster may lead to diminution of the bulk density and the water repellency of the plaster elements.

Siwin-WE9400 is not recommended for surface treatment of plaster elements.

If stored below 0°C, the product may cause the product become turbid viscous congeal or separate. After heating to 20-25°C and thorough mixing, the product can be used again without any problems.
