Characteristics
BQS-620 is a type of hydrophobic fumed silica that is created through chemical post-treatment with HMDS (Hexamethyldisilazane) from BQS-200.
Applications
BQS-620 is commonly used in HTV silicone rubber and LSR, coatings and printing ink, adhesives and sealants, and powder coatings.
BQS-620 is a reinforcing filler for elastomers, and it has high hydrophobicity and stable thixotropy. It also serves as an anti-settling and anti-sagging agent in coatings and printing ink, a free flow aid and anti-caking aid for powders, and a rheological control for adhesives and sealants.
